A year leading design and innovation engagements across UAE government, aviation, energy and enterprise clients, while recruiting the specialists and raising the delivery quality behind them.
The challenge
Different clients across the UAE needed practical human-centred design, innovation and service design support in very different formats, from executive training to airport journey mapping to innovation foresight. XWORX, a Dubai-based design and innovation agency, hired Garry as Principal Designer to lead that range credibly while building the team and delivery quality behind it.
The approach
Garry led engagements across government, aviation, energy, mobility and executive capability-building contexts, covering engagement leadership, executive training, innovation coaching, capability building and design critique, while recruiting and managing domain specialists and improving the agency's internal design-management practice.
